David is an officer at Needle & Rosenberg, P.C., in the electronics/software patent practice group and is a member of the medical technology practice group.His practice focuses on all aspects of the prosecution of patents for electrical, computer software and hardware, telecommunications, optical, mechanical and business method inventions including audio/video technologies, medical devices, and financial and insurance services.David's practice also includes client counseling, portfolio analysis and competitor analysis.

In addition to his law degree from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville, David holds an M.B.A. from the University of Louisville and a B.S.E.E. degree from the University of Kentucky.

Prior to joining Needle & Rosenberg, David practiced intellectual property law at firms in Atlanta and Louisville, Kentucky, and has 14 years experience as an electrical engineer in various aspects of the electric utility industry.

David is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and in Georgia and Kentucky.He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.A native of Kentucky, David now resides in Woodstock, Georgia with his wife and two daughters.
