KSU started its first week of classes in the wake of a homicide/suicide involving a student on Aug. 20

Junior marketing major, Lauren Cooper, was found in her off-campus apartment at the Villas of Kennesaw off of Shiloh Road late Sunday night.

According to Kennesaw Police, Cooper was found murdered in her bedroom alongside co-worker and murderer, Kendrick Ledet, 31, of Smyrna.
