At the AGM held at Gravesend on the 7th November the Council heard with great regret that our Chairman, Mr Cook, wished to relinquish the chair, owing to his forthcoming retirement.
Norman C Cook, BA, V-P SA, FMA, was elected in November 1967 and his wise counsel and enthusiastic leadership have been responsible for the expanding policy and increasing influence of the Council. He will be keeping in close touch with us and we hope he will visit us whenever possible. It has been a privilege to work under his guidance and I am well aware how difficult it will be to follow him.I know you will all join me in thanking him for his inspired Chairmanship, for the last three! years and wishing him a very happy and well deserved retirement.
