Janet Cook

Janet qualified as a nurse in 1981 and worked for the Somerset Area Health Authority until 1984 when she took time out to raise a family.In 1990 she joined Somerset Local Education Authority as a Special Needs/Classroom Assistant before obtaining a B.A. (Ed) Honours degree in Humanities and Primary Education at Exeter University.She has taught at several local primary schools across a wide range of abilities, including special needs and joined Bibic in November 2004.She also spent 2 years working as a counsellor.Janet is developing her specialism in working with young people with specific learning difficulties and those with behaviour difficulties and is working towards a professional qualification in this field.
