Jane was born in Hertfordshire, leaving school to train at Pitmans Secretarial College shortly after which left the UK to 'do' a few seasons working in ski resorts in Switzerland, learning to ski and speak German to a greater or lesser degree of success along the way.Returned to UK during ski seasons, met and married future husband, and became PA to chairman of group of travel and freight companies, thereby retaining ability to fulfil love of travel.By the time first son Nicolas was 2, despite his being the model child realised wanted a career rather than full time motherhood, trained and became an independent financial adviser for NatWest some 13 years ago since when she has been looking after people's financial requirements.In the meantime, she has had two other children and passed the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate in 1996.
