  AlistairOhh I started when I was about thirteen and was very frusttrated by seeing magic on telly and not knowing how to do it.So I bought literally hundreds of books and practised in front of a mirror until I got the hang of it.

  AlistairMonkey Magic is magic performed in the strangest places with the strangest objects by a team of four magicians: Pete McCahon, Jonathan Goodwin and Pete Firman.Its nothing like you've seen before and basically its got surreal edge like performing magic naked magic under water, dangerous magic, magicians at war.The show is bit like a mixture of trigger happy tv and jackass with magic thrown in performed in a street magic style.

  AlistairI don't like them that much but to be honest they usually make up fake secrets and reveal them as the real methods of the tricks.But to be honest they just made up the secrets tofool the public even more. so they aren't really a problem/

  AlistairYes regrettably at school.All my friends banned me from playing three card brag when everyone kept winnig like 50p and I kept winng a tenner.They soon caught on tomy scams but never saw how I diid it.But cheating at cards is [pretty cool.

  Alistairprobebly other tv spots.But for live audiences about 600.However in my live shows I like to do magic like David Bliane to only small audiences of maybe 5 to 10 people.The closer people are the motre amazing the magic

  Anyway, there's a pretty decent show on five in the UK at the mo - Secrets of the Psychics: Revealed, where magician Alistair Cook has been "replicates psychic performers' most famous feats from bending spoons to contacting the spirits", and "using psychological skills and sleight of hand to give demonstrations to the public of his 'psychic' abilities".
