Alistair Cook, Director of Finance and Corporate ServicesAlistair joins Sport England from the UK Passport Service (an Executive Agency of the Home Office) where he was Finance Director for the last 7 years.This has recently been merged with the Home Office's Identity Cards Programme to become the Identity & Passport Service, with Ally having additional responsibility for the Identity Cards Business Case and cost modelling.His earlier career was as a graduate trainee at National Audit Office where he also qualified as a (CIPFA) accountant.

Ally got married last year and shares with his wife a passion for mountain walking and other sports (with a rugby ball being thrown around the church, and a football kicked around the reception venue!).He is very much looking forward to having a professional excuse to read the back pages of newspapers .
