John Albert Constantine , 82 , of 7917 Lewiston Road , Batavia , formerly of Mt. Morris , died Sept. 3 , 2000 , at his home.He was born the son of Francesco and Carrie ( Barone ) Constantine on Aug. 27 , 1918 , in Mt. Morris.Prior to his retirement in 1976 he was employed at Craig Developmental Center in Sonyea as a registered nurse for over 32 years.He was a former member of St. Patrick's Church in Mt. Morris and a current member of St. Joseph's Church in Batavia.He also was a member of CSEA.He is survived by his wife Ruth ; four children , Frank ( Rosalie ) Constantine of Erie , Pa. , Susan ( Craig ) LeMay of Washington , N.C. , Elizabeth ( Ronald ) Boyd of Batavia and Margaret Peggy Constantine of Mt. Morris ; six grandchildren ; two sisters , Ruth Constantine of Mt. Morris and Carolyn Bonafede of Dansville ; many nieces and nephews.Friends called Tuesday at the John W. Martin Funeral Home , 37 Chapel St. , Mt. Morris , where prayers were said Wednesday morning followed by a funeral mass at St. Patrick's Church in Mt. Morris with the Rev.
