We decided to take this step for several reasons including a more visible role of the choir within the service, a better acoustical result, and easier accessibility for Alicia Conboy.As many of you know, Alicia has multiple sclerosis but still climbs to the balcony every week to sing with the choir.This is not an easy task and is becoming increasingly difficult.By moving the choir to the chancel, Alicia will only have to climb 4 steps rather than 15.
