   Collins has served as Assistant Director of DRC since December 2004.Collins, a 29-year state employee, began his corrections career as a social worker and has held numerous positions including deputy warden, warden and deputy director of prisons.

   Collins, 53, holds a B.A. degree in sociology and corrections from Morehead State University and a M.A. in corrections from Xavier University.Collins and his wife Linda live in Chillicothe and have two grown children.
   
   Michael P. Randle will replace Collins as DRC Assistant Director.
