Having joined Octapharma UK in 2001, Ms Collins has previously held positions within the company as National Sales Manager and Director of the Emergency Medicine portfolio.
Ms Collins has taken up the role at a time of major challenge and change in the important UK marketplace. Public concerns surrounding vCJD, intense price pressures and ongoing NHS changes combine to increase the importance of focused leadership and clear strategic planning to ensure success.
Her first task has been to consolidate and strengthen the sales and marketing organisation realigning the structure to support the needs of the business in 2004.
