Steven Collins is the founder and President of Trefethen Capital Markets, LLC, a privately owned investment banking firm that specializes in Asset Backed Securitization, International Financial advisory services, the private placement of debt and equity and in merger and acquisition advisory services.Since 1983, he has led the firm in the placement of over $3.5 billion in debt, equity and merger/acquisition advisory services for over 200 businesses and real estate projects throughout the United States.

Prior to founding Trefethen Capital Markets, Mr. Collins was Executive Vice President of Commercial Banking for First NH Banks from 1979 until 1983.Mr. Collins was a Director of First Federal Bank from 1983 until 1989.Mr. Collins was a director of New Hampshire Savings Bank from 1989 until 1992.Mr. Collins is a Graduate of Brigham Young University, The National Graduate School of Commercial Lending at The University of Oklahoma and Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University.

Motivated for tax and estate planning purposes, the controlling shareholders, represented by Steve Collins of Trefethen Capital Markets LLC, agreed to sell the company's assets to Olympus Real Estate Corporation in February 2000, consisting primarily of 27 Susse Chalet limited service hotels throughout New England and the Baltimore-area.
