WASHINGTON ( AP ) - NBC's Tim Russert and Stephen Collins of the WB's ``7th Heaven'' are among the recipients of the 2001 Fatherhood Awards , to be presented Thursday by the National Fatherhood Initiative.

The awards are presented to individuals who ``provide society with a standard for involved , committed and responsible fatherhood , '' according to the nonprofit organization.

Russert is moderator of NBC's ``Meet the Press.'' He is NBC News' Washington bureau chief.
