Shirley Collins, an Advanced Placement psychology teacher at Union High School , 6636 S. Mingo Road , has been named the chairperson/coordinator for the AP Psychology program for the state of Oklahoma .

Collins, who agreed to serve last fall, will meet with other state and regional AP coordinators this summer.As the coordinators network, Collins said they will be discussing ways to improve the AP program.
