My ideas fuse inspirational expressions and exciting graphics that help combat the negativity that is around us", states Sheri Collins, founder of Shadez Communications a multi-faceted publishing company. She is also the Creative Director for the annual full-color Shadez Calendar. Sheri is a visionary, a trendsetter, and has been tenacious in her journey towards infinite artistic expression.
   
   Sheri was born in Brooklyn, New York and spent most of her formative years in Covina, California. While in California she was involved in many activities that gave her the outlets to release her creative energy, such as dance and choreography. When she felt her creativity becoming stifled in California, Sheri decided to return to New York to explore new opportunities. In an attempt to broaden her horizons, she formalized her education at Baruch College and Fashion Institute of Technology where she majored in Business Administration and Graphic Design, respectively.
   
   Sheri acquired valuable advertising experience while working in the accounts management departments at FCB Leber Katz Partners and Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide. "I learned firsthand about the various stages of advertising campaigns. One of the most significant things I learned was to understand the targeted consumers feelings and what energy it takes to earn their trust and respect. The experience I gained helped me realize that consumers crave thought provoking products, so I used that energy to venture out and deliver a product that showcases originality." After her stretch in corporate America, Sheri decided to use her graphical talents and desire to be an entrepreneur to launch Shadez Communications.
   
   As President for Shadez Communications, Sheri assumes various roles that allow her to utilize her creativity, along with her technical and business skills. To relay her ingenuity even further, Sheri is one of the featured models in the Shadez Calendar project. She is also a web design consultant and fashion stylist. Her website portfolio includes Rap Artist Special Ed, Shadez 2000 featured photographer Jumanne and many others. "Being versatile will be the key to my longevity."
   
   Sheri is determined to use her artistic passion to capture and display the essence of love and unity. Shadez Communications enables her to breathe life into her concepts and share her visions with the world.
