She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree Cum Laude in Communications from Georgetown College in 2001, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2004. During law school, she served as a Law Clerk for Chief Judge Sara Combs of the Kentucky Court of Appeals, and also worked as a Law Clerk for the Kentucky League of Cities. Ms. Collins currently serves as a volunteer for Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky.
