  Sandy Collins, SecretarySandy has lived in Kent for 34 years.She is a past president of the Kent School Board on which she has been a member since 1977.A graduate of the University of Washington, Sandy worked several years as a dental hygienist and travel agent.She has been an active school, PTA, and community volunteer.She has served as a PTSA council president and has served on the King County Director's Association board.Sandy currently serves on Board of Directors of the Washington State School Directors Association and recently received the Trustee Award for Leadership from this Association.She has two children who are graduates of the Kent School District.She has been a Foundation board member since 1997.
