Many of the men who were looking for last minute gifts hit book stores searching for cook books or writings by their significant other's favorite author, said Sandra Collins, manager of Books A Million in the mall. Collins' store saw more customers this weekend than it did on Black Friday after Thanksgiving, traditionally the biggest shopping day of the year, the one that begins the holiday buying madness.
