   Rob is the past chair of the Canadian Bar Association - Ontario Committee on loan and trust legislation.He has lectured on a wide variety of business and legal topics in law schools, in continuing legal education programs and to professional and industry associations both in Canada and internationally.
   
   Rob is a former member of the Firm's executive committee and a past chair of its business development, associate and student committees.He was a founding partner of Blakes Calgary and its first administrative partner.
   
   From 1991 to 1998, Rob was chairman and chief executive officer of Morgan Financial Corporation, a publicly-traded life insurance holding company, and was the chairman of its subsidiary, Westbury Canadian Life Insurance Company, until the latter's sale to a Canadian chartered bank.Rob is a director of a number of both public and private corporations and not-for-profit organizations.
