MONMOUTH - Construction of Monmouth's two ion exchange facilities is right on or just a little ahead of schedule, according to Mike Collins, resident engineer for Missman Stanley and Associates, the city's engineering firm.

All the underground piping for that building is done, Collins said.
Most of the underground piping has been installed at the north plant, located next to the water tower on East Girard Avenue.The framing for that building is up and siding on that building should go up this week.
"We are well on our way.We are right on schedule," Collins.

"We are down to South Main Street now on the south leg and with any luck at all start moving that pipe under the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad tracks and across Main Street next week," Collins said.
