   Mr. Collins has many responsibilities within the firm including business management, field supervision, project management, permitting and site evaluation and has over 25 years of experience in these fields.
   
   He obtained a certificate in Instrumentation and Management from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT). He also attended Acadia University and took Recreation Administration. Before joining Philip A. Collins Civil Engineering Limited in 1999, Mr. Collins worked for several management firms across Nova Scotia. In 2004 he became a partner and president of the firm. During this time he has worked on numerous building, marine, subdivision, project management and sanitary systems projects through out the province including:

   Overseeing several residential and commercial septic system projects Mr. Collins also has professional development courses in Environmental Management as well as Dale Carnegie Leadership courses where he also served as a grad assistant. He is actively involved in the community with the Kinsmen as well as sports development programs.
