Linetta D.C. Collins
Linetta Collins is a third year doctoral student in the Urban Educational Leadership Program at the University of Cincinnati. She earned her B.S. in Health Education from The Ohio State University and her M.Ed. in Educational Administration from the University of Cincinnati. Linetta Collins currently holds both a 7-12th grade Health Teacher and School Administrator License for the State of Ohio. She has worked as a Junior High School Health and Science teacher in Columbus City Schools, Cincinnati Public Schools, Mt. Healthy City Schools and various local Charter Schools in Cincinnati. Linetta has leadership experience in the social service field, serving as a past Director of HIV/AIDS programming at The American Red Cross and a HIV/AIDS educator for several prevention agencies, including the Central Community Health Board. Her passion for HIV infected youth and families continues as she combines her social service experience with her desired educational research agenda; assessing the attitudes and beliefs of school administrators and teachers toward HIV and the HIV+ students in schools. Linetta is a proud board member for the Cincinnati Board of Health and Founder and CEO of Attenil, Inc, an educational services business in which she advocates, teaches and promotes social justice in education. -
