   Linda A. Collins, Esq. The Bucks County Women's Fund recently appointed an Executive Director and elected five new members to the Board of Directors in a move to increase fundraising and grant-giving in support of its mission to benefit the women and girls of Bucks County.
   
   Linda A. Collins, Esq., of Doylestown, a seasoned administrator with expertise in the non-profit arena, was named Executive Director of the foundation. Collins has more than 26 years of professional and volunteer experience as an advocate in the areas of women's rights, violence against women and social justice.

   Prior to joining BCWF, Linda Collins served as a consultant to non-profit organizations focusing on legal issues, strategic planning and fund development. She is the former executive director for Laurel House in Norristown, a shelter for battered women and their children, and for the Women's Center of Montgomery County. She has served on many boards at local, state and national levels.
   
   Collins earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Education degrees from Kutztown State University and her Law degree from Temple University. She holds nonprofit management and fund development certificates from Harvard University, the Nonprofit Center at LaSalle University and Villanova.

   The Fund embarked on a search for a new executive director after the former part time director, Linda A. Collins, Esq., accepted a full time position at another regional nonprofit organization.
   
   The Bucks County Women's Fund, managed by women and incorporated in 1990, has awarded grants totaling more than $212,000 to 36 area organizations serving women and girls.
