   Linda J. Collins has more than 25 years of insurance industry-related experience in a broad variety of roles, including reporter, editor, speechwriter and corporate communications manager.
   
   Linda began her insurance career in 1979 at Rough Notes Co. in Indianapolis as an editor of property/casualty books and managing editor of Rough Notes magazine.In 1984, she joined the editorial staff of Business Insurance magazine in Chicago, where she primarily monitored and reported on the distribution side of the business as Agent/Broker Editor.In 1990, she moved to Charlotte, N.C., as a speechwriter for Royal Insurance, where she was later named Editorial Services Manager.
   
   In 1996, Linda returned to the Chicago area to take a position in the Corporate Communications Department of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., the world's fourth-largest broker.She is currently Vice President, Corporate Communications and is responsible for strategic communications, media relations, and internal and external communications activities.
   
   Linda holds a degree in English Composition/Journalism from Indiana University and a Certificate of Insurance from the Insurance Institute of America.
