   Lincoln Collins Chief Executive Officer, Hartford Life Limited
   
   Lincoln Collins is Chief Executive Officer for The Hartford Life Limited, a subsidiary of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. (NYSE: HIG).
   
   As CEO of Hartford Life Limited, Mr. Collins is responsible for the general management, as well as profit and loss, of The Hartford's new venture to sell investment savings products in the United Kingdom. The Hartford is targeting the UK as part of a pan-European initiative to capitalise on the growing need for retirement savings products.
   
   Before joining The Hartford in April 2004, Mr. Collins was chief operating officer at American Skandia. He worked for Skandia for nearly 16 years in numerous roles, including senior vice president of strategy and development, senior vice president of product management and vice president of marketing. He has extensive experience with the development of retirement savings products in the United States, as well as start-up operations.
   
   Collins is a graduate of Trinity College, Connecticut, with a B.A. in History. He earned an MBA from the Boston College Carroll Graduate School of Management and is a chartered financial consultant. In addition, he holds NASD Series 6 and 26 licenses.
