ALBANY ,Deerfield-Windsor girls basketball coach Larry Collins wanted to see his team come out with purpose against Tattnall Square on Friday night.
By the time the 56-26 Lady Knights win was over, Collins found a few reasons to complain, but his team's early purpose wasn't one of them.
A 19-1 first quarter, spearheaded by a smothering press defense, created an impressive encore for the Deerfield-Windsor girls basketball team, which already beat Tattnall by 49 points earlier this season.
"A 19-1 first quarter , you really can't fuss with that," Collins said.

Collins attributed much of that to an uneven effort by his team after the win was all but guaranteed.
"We needed to play more consistently," said Collins, who rested his starters for much of the fourth quarter. "But it is hard when you get up 19-1."
The Lady Knights (10-2) will attempt to repeat an earlier win again today when they host First Presbyterian. Deerfield beat FPD 43-32 on Dec. 7.
"We will have to play 32 minutes (today)," Collins said.
