Dr. John A. Collins

John (Jack) Collins, MD, FACS is board certified in Surgery by the American Board of Surgery.He graduated from Stanford University School of Medicine and completed his Internship and Residency in Surgery at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver.Dr. Collins has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine since 1978 and is a Registered Vascular Technologist.Following private practice in Fort Morgan, Colorado, he joined Surgical Specialists of the Rockies in 1997.He is also currently serving as the Physician Advisor for Morgan and Washington Counties' Ambulance Services.Click for link to Complete Curriculum Vitae for Dr. Collins.

John A. Collins, MD, FACS, has been active in Trauma & EMS initiatives for several years.Dr. Collins serves on the Medical Advisory Group (MAG) at the Colorado Department of Health, and as a liaison to the Board of Medical Examiners.Dr. Collins is an ATLS instructor and serves as the pre-hospital medical director for Morgan and Washington County Ambulance Services.
