   Originally from New Zealand, Joanne has been teaching and performing in Melbourne since 1997.While in New Zealand Joanne won the awards of National Young Asthma Achiever of the Year, second place in The New Zealand National Ballet Awards, and an award from the Prime Minister as Outstanding Young Achiever of the Year.
   
   Joanne graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts School of Dance in Melbourne with Honours in her Bachelor of Arts Degree.She has worked as a freelance artist and choreographer for Melbourne Fringe Festival and Melbourne International Arts Festival with performances at the World Famous Speigeltent.
   
   Her film work includes "World Clubbing" documentary for the BBC, "Tango" for the Victorian College of the Arts film school, and various music videos for Melbourne based bands.After teaching Ballroom and Latin American at Toucan Dance Studio, Joanne toured for two years with Royal Caribbean International Cruise Lines.She performed on Splendour of the Seas, Radiance of the Seas, where she was made Dance Captain, and Voyager of the Seas as a specialist act performing silk and harness flying work.Now Joanne is back in Melbourne and ready to inspire all the wonderful ladies out there who love to dance as much as she does!
