   Jerry Collins has been tailgating at University of Tennessee football games since he graduated from UT in 1980.
   
   His most memorable tailgate was in 1998 when UT beat Florida State University in Tempe, Ariz., to win the national championship.
   
   "That tailgate was so filled with anticipation," Collins recalled."We parked in the parking lot of a dance club, although we never went in.My fondest memory is after the game, we were all in disbelief that we just won the national championship.We were just sort of awestruck."
   
   Collins and friends traditionally tailgate in the campus lot across from the old Tennessee Grill.But the lot is being revamped this year, so they're in search of a new place to land.
   
   Collins, 47, is a senior manager in communications at TVA.He graduated from UT with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
   
   "I tailgate with a conglomerate of friends I've known through grade school all the way through college," he said.

   "Most of us are out in the sun throwing the football, having fun and enjoying a beverage of our choice," Collins said.
