   Jerome Collins In 1974 Dr. Collins was awarded a B.A. in Chemistry and Psychology with honors from Grinnell College, Grinnell, Iowa. He was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and was the recipient of the Fischer Award for the Highest Cumulative GPA in Chemistry. He attended medical school at the University of Iowa College of Medicine, Iowa City, Iowa from 1974 to 1978. He completed his internship and surgical residency at University of Colorado School of Medicine, Denver, Colorado in 1984. During his residency he spent fifteen months as Senior Registrar and Junior Consultant in Surgery University of Cape Town, South Africa, from November 1981 to January 1983.
   
   Dr. Collins joined Loveland Surgical Associates in 1984. He was board certified in Surgery by the American Board of Surgery in 1985. He was granted recertification in 1995. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Collins is on staff at McKee Medical Center in Loveland. He serves on the Colorado Chapter, American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma. He belongs to the Colorado Medical Society and Larimer County Medical Society. He is the current Director of Trauma Services, McKee Medical Center.
   
   Dr. Collins is a former member of the American Medical Association and has served as Chief of Staff and as Chairman Ethics Committee at McKee.
