   UWF gallery director Holly Collins said she expects the exhibit to be a popular draw for students at the university.
   
   "From my teaching experience, I know a lot of the people photographed," Collins said. A large number of students don't understand the important role blacks played in the United States, Collins said, and the exhibition presents a learning opportunity.

   HOLLY COLLINS Holly J. Collins is an adjunct professor at the University of West Florida, and is also the art gallery director of the Center for Fine and Performing Arts at the university. She recently had an invitational exhibition at the A.R.C. Gallery in Chicago and a solo exhibition at the Gallery of Art in Panama City. Holly,s work appears in numerous private and corporate collections throughout the United States and abroad.
