Henry joined the staff in 1991 after a career in the Army as a Foreign Area Officer.His last Army assignment was at the U.S. Information Agency, where he located, recruited, and programmed American experts who would speak to foreign audiences about such topics as U.S. foreign and economic policy, arms control, and the environment.He lived in Japan, Korea, Germany and Norway for a total of fourteen years as a result of his and his father's Army assignments; his travels have also taken him to nineteen other countries and to 44 states.Henry's past Army assignments included a tour as Assistant Professor of Military Science at the University of Alabama and, while in Korea, additional duties as general secretary of the People to People chapter in Taegu.Henry has a BA in Psychology from the University of Maryland and an MS in International Relations from Troy State University, both completed while he was stationed in Germany.He also attended the U.S. Army Staff College and the Royal Norwegian Army Staff College.
