Glenn Collins has had eleven years experience in STM publishing. He started his career in New York as an editorial assistant in the reference works division of John Wiley & Sons, and moved up to the position of Acquisitions Editor within five years. In that capacity, he signed numerous multi-volume reference works in such diverse fields as acquaculture, bioethics, molecular medicine, and imaging science. On moving to San Diego in 2000, he became the Editorial Office Manager for the Journal of Brain Research. Thereafter he became Managing Editor of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, again based in San Diego, before joining Plural Publishing as Acquisitions Editor in August of 2005. -
