She married Carl Collins on June 30, 1936. She attended the University of Arkansas and graduated from John Brown University in 1955 with a bachelor of science in elementary education.
She taught school for 35 years, then retired and worked as a substitute teacher. She was a member of the National Retired Teachers Association and Felker E.H. Club, and was a lifetime member of the Arkansas Retired Teachers Association.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Gentry and Elizabeth Wasson Sunday school class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Collins, on Feb. 25, 1978. -
