   All the outfits were provided free and twenty families who participated were lead by the Chairman of the Caravan Club of Great Britain, Frank Collins.

   Sitting in the front row was Frank Collins, the Immediate Past Chairman of the Caravan Club. Frank immediately calmed the meeting down in a way that only Frank could do. The meeting decided to form International Caravanning, and I invited Frank Collins from the platform to be our first Chairman.

   Twenty families from the U.K. travelled across America as the guests of the Foundation, led by the then Chairman of the Caravan Club, Frank Collins, who was subsequently our own Chairman and later President for many years.
