Elizabeth Margaret Collins was born November 11 , 1906 in Sioux City , Iowa to Fred & Grace Schaaf. She graduated from Central High School , Sioux City , Iowa in 1924 and attended Morningside College. She married Melvin Fredrik Collins on July 28 , 1927 and he preceded her in death in February of 1982. They lived in Billings , Montana , Crete , Nebraska , Beloit , Kansas , Lincoln , Nebraska , Red Cloud , Nebraska and came to Hastings , from Red Cloud , Nebraska in 1939. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church , Presbyterian Women's Association , Coterie Club , Hastings YWCA , Niobrara Chapter DAR and Chapter HT P.E.O.
Elizabeth Margaret Collins was preceded in death by her parents , husband , Melvin , 1 sister and brother-in-law , Virginia & Bill Dunkle and a great grandson , Kyle Collins.
