  Elaine works for findmypast.com and has a long history in genealogy - having edited The National Archives 'Ancestors' magazine for 18 months, as well as being Chair of the Anglo-Italian Family History Society, and writer of 'The Good Web Guide to Genealogy'.
  
  As Elaine is our new expert genealogist, she will be answering your questions most months.However, we will also feature answers from other well-known expert genealogists every couple of months.
