   ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Charles W. Collins, 89, formerly of Wise, Va., passed away Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000, at Carrington Place Convalescent Center.He was the former owner of Collins Alignment Co., Wise, Va., retired employee of Flat Gap Mining Co., Norton, Va., former council member and mayor of the Town of Wise, and a member of Wise County Housing Authority.He was a member and past master of Hoge Masonic Lodge No. 8 A.F.& A.M., Wise, Va., past district grand master for the Grand Lodge of Virginia, member of Kazim Shrine Temple, Roanoke, Va., and was a member of the First Church of God, Wise, Va.He was preceded in death by his wife, Cecile P. Collins ; a daughter, Velta Collins Holyfield ; and his parents, James J. and Victoria Hamilton Collins.
