   Carol's background is in libraries and information: she still administers the University's use of Athens. Since 1996 she has been involved with electronic information, working initially on the use of a technology called "hyperwave" in academic libraries, but subsequently moving into researching and using VLEs. Over the past three years she has worked mostly with Blackboard, creating modules and demonstrating the system to staff, and is now also supporting WebCT.
