Brian J. Collins, Interpreting Services Director, CI/CT Brian J. Collins "BJ" is a dually certified (CI/CT) interpreter, who is a member of RID as well as ICRID.
Brian is a CODA (Child Of Deaf Adults). Because of his ties to the Deaf Community, he had an interest in attending the Indiana School for the Deaf, where both his mother and father graduated from high school. Thanks to ISD, Brian was able to attend ISD in the 1986/1987 school year during the first semester of his senior year. Brian is glad he was able to prolong his stay as the Interpreting Services Director. Leader.
Brian has been with ISD since the '94/'95 school year in a variety of settings on and off campus, some of which he claims to have been more fun than work. He says interpreting at ISD has been challenging but a lot of fun!
Bren Marshall, CSC Bren began working with I.S.D. in March 1994 as a freelance interpreter. In August 1999, she became a staff interpreter. Since 1978, prior to her involvement with I.S.D., Bren worked within the Deaf community in a variety of roles and locales.
