Avis Souder Collins , 81 , of Dry Ridge , died at 10 : 25 a.m. Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North Hospice Unit , Covington. She was a former cafeteria worker for Dry Ridge Elementary School and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church , Jonesville. Her husband , Ashby W. ''Toad'' Collins , died in 1981.
Survivors include her daughter , Carole Kemper of Jonesville ; sons , Rev. Kendall Collins of Frankfort and Robert Cotton of Park Hills ; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Macedonia Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until the time of services Friday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home , Williamstown. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery , Owenton.
