   Gerry is a native Texan and has lived in Austin since 1967.

   After graduating from CFNI in Dallas they relocated to Austin and had two beautiful children (Britain 9, and Sara 6). Bill currently serves as Senior Pastor of Calvary Worship Center in north Austin. He began teaching with the Lifeguard program in 1994 as a volunteer speaker and in 2001 came on board as a staff speaker.

   Matt received an Associates degree in Radiation Therapy Technology from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and moved to Austin to begin working in the medical field.

   Austin grew up in Houston and attended Memorial High School, where he became very involved in the mission of Young Life. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a finance degree he joined the Young Life staff in Austin, working in ministry with students from Westlake High School. Austin is our newest Lifeguard staff member and he will be serving as a staff speaker, combining his love of high school kids with the opportunity to teach and equip them to make life-changing decisions.
