  As the players took to the field against Cedar Grove, regular pitcher Andrew Collins was somewhere enjoying a wedding anniversary (or something like that is what I heard), so they had to call in the new guy.Although the "new guy" had coached this team for several years, he was still nonetheless making his pitching debut on the mound.Someone later told the "new guy" back in the dugout that he seemed a bit nervous out there.........well.........he was!!!!After putting a few in the dirt, and sailing a few from the sky, he finally calmed (some), enough to get out of a 1st shaky inning.

  The loss this time can mainly be put upon the shoulders of the coach, not the players, for each of them gave 110% effort, especially pitchers Andrew Collins and Brittany White.

  After nearly three years living in England, Drew and Darcey Gritzmacher Johnson, have returned to the United States.

  Drew is currently serving as a staff member of the Youth Theology Institute, Emory University, Atlanta; Drew will complete his work the end of July.Darcey is on her way to Burley, Idaho, were she will become minister of First United Methodist Church in Burley.Drew will be joining her in August.Drew and Darcey report a wonderful experience in England but are very happy to be back home!

  Andrew Collins was recently confirmed by the congregation as the full-time Youth Pastor at Raintree Community Church.He has four years of previous youth experience.He has been leading our young people in grades 7 through 12, ages 12 to 18, since the beginning of July.He and his wife Michaela have been married for three years and they have a very lovable one-year-old daughter, Samantha.Andrew attended Calvary Bible College where he received his Pastoral Studies degree in May 2002.
