Collini has also been an administrative law judge for the Parking Violations Bureau and was a hearing officer for the Personal Review Board for the city's Health and Hospitals Corporation.

The nominee has passed through a judicial screening committee and now only needs to be confirmed by the Republican-controlled state Senate to be a judge , which is expected.
