   Tabitha has been working in the homeless sector for several years. For the past two years she has employed as the Operations Manager at the Hutt Street Centre. The Hutt Street Centre is a front line agency for homeless adults in the inner city of Adelaide. Situated in the south-east corner of the City of Adelaide, the Centre is accessed by people who sleep 'rough' in the adjacent parklands, squat in nearby buildings and reside in cheap hotels, boarding houses, night shelters, community and public housing.
   
   Throughout her career Tabitha had gained knowledge and an understanding of the principles, philosophies and processes associated with the provision of human services, with a primary focus on homelessness, housing and social justice.
   
   Additionally she has demonstrated a commitment to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, best practice principles and continuous quality improvement. Tabitha was recently awarded a Service Excellence Star Award for her work in this field.
   
   After completing her Bachelor of Social Work Degree in New South Wales she moved to Adelaide in 2000. She also enjoys making jewellery, restoring funky finds, spending time with her family and friends, interior design and, above all, spending time with her dog "Ms China Chow".
