   Sam Collings is an Associate in the Firm's Litigation Practice Group, concentrating on complex litigation involving antitrust, intellectual property, product liability, libel, and the constitutional law and appellate practice.
   
   Mr. Collings represents his clients in complex litigation matters from discovery through the appellate process. Both the analysis of legal theory and brief-writing usually form the focus of Mr. Collings' practice. He is often involved in drafting and coordinating the firm's briefing of legal issues before both administrative agencies and trial and appellate courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Collings' litigation experience includes:
   
   Constitutional law advocacy/appellate practice. Representing clients in investigations conducted by the FTC and state attorneys general. Representing clients regarding issues involving privacy, deceptive practices and advertising substantiation. Representing clients in class action litigation in state and federal court for Internet service and telecommunications providers, and consumer product companies. Representing clients in connection with litigation involving intellectual property issues. Prior to joining Kelley Drye Collier Shannon in 2003, Mr. Collings served as law clerk to Hon. Glenn T. Harrell, Jr., Court of Appeals of Maryland from 2002-2003.
