   Mary started in business in 1974 and has spent over 20 years specialising in the areas of Financial Services and Training & Development. She worked throughout the UK for leading insurance companies before becoming an international independent financial adviser based in Cyprus, covering the Middle East.
   
   Whilst in the Middle East she also worked as a writer/researcher and editor at the Press Centre in Nicosia, where she worked alongside the international TV, radio and press representatives from all the major continents. During this time she worked on The Gulf War and the Hostage Crisis.
   
   She returned to the UK in 1991 as a founder member of the team launching The J. Rothschild Partnership (now St James Place Partnership). Here she was responsible for the delivery of all of the technology training programme, together with being part of the project team designing and developing the software for The Partnership.
   
   In 1997 she joined the founder members of Inter-Alliance (now the UK's largest national IFA), initially as National Sales Support Manager working alongside Bob Patmore, their National Sales Director. An advocate of Bob's personal development philosophy, she is the editor of his "Perfect Vision in Management" and "7 Steps to Perfect Vision" books. She is the Founding Practice Director for Inter-Alliance (Birmingham).
   
   In that same year she also set up Mary Collin Training & Consultancy Limited to provide services to a number of large and small to medium-sized clients. They rapidly gained a reputation for complete reliability and dependability. The company offers cost-effective, efficient, flexible solutions and prides itself on being a safe pair of hands. Over 200 high quality professional trainers, coaches and consultants - locally and nationally - deliver excellent results tailored to the individual or corporate client. Mary was nominated for the "Midlands Business Woman of the Year" in 1999.
   
   Currently Mary is developing her "31 Days to . . ." Success Library (available as e-books or audio programmes) and spends her time building her two businesses.
   
   As a life member of the Institute of Directors and a member of the Institute of Management and the Life Insurance Association, Mary is totally committed to personal and professional development. She is keen to share what she has learned with others.
   
   In her spare time she is the Founder President of the Professional Speakers Association for the Midlands Area and, as one of the original members of Peter's British Business Consultants & Trainers Academy, Mary is now a Regional Director of the Consultancy Development Network.
