   The youngest of nine children, Julie Colligan grew up just across the Ohio River from Louisville, KY, in New Albany, IN. She got her start in radio as an Administrative assistant for Regent Broadcasting (now Clear Channel) in Louisville, KY. Since that time she has spent the last decade working as an account executive in local sales for radio, and has won numerous awards including "Salesperson Of The Year".
   
   In 2000, she moved to Nashville to work in sales for WRLT "Lightning 100" and WYYB "The Phoenix", among others. Through her experience with these great stations, she developed a new appreciation for the music and artistry of the Americana and AAA genres.
   
   Currently, Julie is Director of Sales and Affiliate Relations for Americana Entertainment and its popular syndicated radio program, This Week In AMERICANA.
   
   Recently, Julie and her significant other settled down on 8 acres of land outside of Nashville with her cat and two dogs. In her spare time she enjoys all things outdoors including hiking and golf.

   NASHVILLE, TN - Americana Entertainment announces the addition of Julie Colligan as Director of Sales and Affiliate Relations for This Week in AMERICANA the nation's leading program devoted to Americana music and artist interviews. This Week in AMERICANA is a two-hour syndicated radio program, airing each weekend on commercial stations nationwide.
   
   Julie has spent the last decade in radio starting out as a National Sales Assistant and then working as an Account Executive in local sales. She has worked for stations including Clear Channel's country formatted WHKW in Louisville, KY, Dickey Brother Broadcasting's (Cumulus) WQQK and privately owned progressive station WRLT in Nashville, TN. Julie has won numerous awards including "Salesperson Of The Year". On her appointment, Julie said: "I am very excited about being a part of the Americana Entertainment team!
