Bud Colglazier, Don Hinds Ford president, said the area can flood up to 6 feet deep in the spring, and water can sometimes block the road for customers.

When it rains, water flows downhill from the Greenfield Pike intersection, Colglazier said.It's a problem that's been around for years but one he feels may be costly to fix.

"We're the retention pond for that section of the road," he said."This could be a major undertaking for the city to find out where the water's going to drain."

The city isn't sure where the excess water is coming from.
