Jason is a member of the litigation department where he focuses his practice on commercial matters.His experience includes complex litigation matters, from employment law and medical malpractice to breach of contract and securities fraud.Notably, some of Jason's work in the securities fraud field was published by the nation's largest legal publisher, who recognized his tireless attention to detail as "a model for other practitioners."
A graduate of Brighton High School, Jason earned his Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Syracuse University.Prior to attending law school, Jason worked for seven years in the commercial real estate market as the director of sales and marketing for a large commercial real estate firm in Atlanta, Georgia.During his tenure there, Jason solved some of the company's toughest problems by enhancing product lines, reclaiming struggling market centers, increasing sales and boosting profit margins.
Seeking greater challenges, Jason left his firm and earned a scholarship to attend Brigham Young University in Utah, where he earned both Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctor degrees.Throughout graduate school, Jason taught several leadership courses in the organizational behavior department at BYU's prestigious Marriott School of Business.
Jason has extensive international experience including a summer studying law in Greece, which included a course taught by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.Jason also spent a semester studying the formation of the European Union through an exchange program with the London School of Economics.On a personal note, Jason loves to travel; he has visited all fifty states, over forty countries and continues to expand his boundaries every year.
